Good News For Eric Holder - Dead CIA Agents

I'm sure Barry Soetoro's hand-picked U.S. Attorney General Eric "Pardon these Terrorists" Holder will be thrilled that he'll have a few less American Patriot Warriors to prosecute if this AP story is true.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told The Associated Press that a Taliban bomber wearing a military uniform and a suicide vest entered the base in Khost and blew himself inside the gym

CIA employees are believed to be among the dead in Wednesday's homicide bombing inside a base in eastern Afghanistan, a congressional official said.
The last tidbit in the article caught my attention:
Before Wednesday's bombing, four CIA operatives were known to have been killed in Afghanistan since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States. CIA officer Micheal "Mike" Spann was killed in a prison uprising in November 2001.
Note to the AP: His name is Johnny Micheal Spann, not "Micheal "Mike" Spann". He was called "Mike". He spent his entire short life in service to his God, his family and his country. He was a good man. Here is his widow with one of the three children left to grow up without a father:

Mike, along with other American Patriots were killed because a little 19-yr-old punk, who never made a positive societal contribution in his life and raised by his liberal parents to hate his country, refused to tell Mike during interrogation about the planned prison uprising. His name is John Walker Lindh, or as he liked to be called Sulayman al-Faris. He was a member of the Taliban and had taken up arms against the United States of America. His mission was to kill Americans. He is presently a guest of the U.S. government, staying in a federal facility. (I'll be taking bets on how long it will be before the Pres. Barry Hussein Soretoro Administration releases him.)

Little Sulayman's parents, Frank Lindh and Marilyn Walker, reacted then, and are still reacting today as one would expect liberals to react when their child is captured trying to murder Americans. What's the big deal? Little Sulayman is the victim here, not that CIA agent.
In their first extended interview, the parents of John Walker Lindh, Marilyn Walker and Frank Lindh, join us for the hour to tell their son’s story. He was born in Washington, DC in 1981. At the age of sixteen, he converted to Islam. In 1999, Lindh left the United States for Yemen to study Arabic and the Koran. He later traveled to Pakistan and then to Afghanistan, before 9/11, where he received military training from the US-backed, Taliban-run Afghan Army to fight against the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan’s civil war. He was captured in late 2001, found emaciated and wounded, one of the few to survive a massacre by the Northern Alliance. To his parents’ relief, he was handed to US forces, but they brutalized him, as well. Donald Rumsfeld had ordered them to “take the gloves off.”  Democracy Now! 31July09

It's Only Make Believe In Barryland

“I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated, that not only does the country look at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently. If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world, they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian, but I also can understand their point of view. …

“The world will have confidence that I am listening to them, and that our future and our security is tied up with our ability to work with other countries in the world. That will ultimately make us safer. And that’s something that this administration has failed to understand.”  Barack Hussein Obama 21Nov07

05Nov09 Islamic jihadist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan murdered 14 people in cold blood and wounded 30 others while shouting "Allah hu akbar!" in a shooting rampage at Ft. Hood.

06Nov09 President Barack Hussein Obama urged his nation on Friday not to jump to conclusions on the motive behind the shooting at a Texas army base as American Muslims braced for a possible backlash.

“We don’t know all of the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all of the facts,” Mr Obama cautioned.

16Nov09 The first public congressional hearing on the Fort Hood attack will not include testimony from any current federal law enforcement, military or intelligence officials because the Obama administration "declined to provide any" such witnesses, according to a Senate committee source.

25Dec09 Christmas Day  Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, a rich Islamic al-Qaeda member and son of one of Nigeria's most important figures is taken down by passengers aboard the jet that Abdulmutallab was trying to explode over Detroit with the 80g of explosives he had sewn into his panties.

28Dec09 President Barack Hussein Obama interrupted his vacation in Hawaii to hold short press conference in which he referred to the al-Qaeda terrorist as "a passenger" and "the suspect".
"As I’ve watched the events of the last few days it is clear once again that President Obama is trying to pretend we are not at war. He seems to think if he has a low key response to an attempt to blow up an airliner and kill hundreds of people, we won’t be at war. He seems to think if he gives terrorists the rights of Americans, lets them lawyer up and reads them their Miranda rights, we won’t be at war. He seems to think if we bring the mastermind of 9/11 to New York, give him a lawyer and trial in civilian court, we won’t be at war.
“He seems to think if he closes Guantanamo and releases the hard-core al Qaeda trained terrorists still there, we won’t be at war. He seems to think if he gets rid of the words, ‘war on terror,’ we won’t be at war. But we are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe. Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency – social transformation—the restructuring of American society. President Obama’s first object and his highest responsibility must be to defend us against an enemy that knows we are at war."
People see us everywhere. They think you really care. But Myself, I can’t deceive. I know it’s only make believe. My one and only prayer is that , some day you’ll care. My hopes, my dreams come true; my one and only you. No one will ever know, how much I love you so. My only prayer will be, some day you’ll care for me. But it’s only make believe.

Ahmadinejad on Nuke Deadline: 'We Don't Care' - Iran | Map | News - FOXNews.com

This is one of those LOL stories. Of course Imam Barry doesn't scare A-jad. He only scares capitalists.

On a more serious note, doesn't A-jad know that Imam Barry will bow at the waist when they meet and they'll fast become BFF's? Maybe as a celebration they can blow up Israel, since it's a toss-up which one of these fearful leaders is the bigger anti-Semite or which of them employs the most anti-Semites.

Democrats Keep Lyin' Even While They're Dyin'

“Let's Look At What Current Observers Are Saying As A Possible Early Indicator Of The Judgment History Will Inflict. Recently, The Editor Of The Manchester Journal Inquirer Editorial Page Wrote Of The Current G.O.P. Which He Called ‘This Once Great And Now Mostly Shameful Party,’ That ‘It Has Gone Crazy, Is More And More Dominated By The Lunatic Fringe And Has Poisoned Itself With Hate.’ He Concluded, ‘They No Longer Want To Govern. They Want To Emote.’ A Well Regarded Philadelphia Columnist Recently Wrote Of The Conservative Paranoia And Lunacy On The Republican Right.”

They are desperate to break this president. They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama. The birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Barack Obama should exist. That is one powerful reason. It is not the only one." http://washingtontimes.com/weblogs/watercooler/2009/dec/20/sen-whitehouse-foes-health-care-bill-are-birthers-/

Hey Manchester Journal and Sheldon Whitehouse! Guess what?

The "shameful", "crazy", hating, emoting, paranoid, lunatics have decided to run the country. The "fanatics" are young, old, Democrat, Libertarian, Republican and Independent. We're going to overthrow your leader and your pals:

Health Care Reform
Date Dec 18-19
Favor  41%
Oppose 55%

...the bill seems to be taking an early toll on Reid’s chances for reelection. The Nevada Democrat now trails three potential GOP challengers in a state where opposition to the plan has been stronger than in other parts of the country.
Democratic incumbents also trail in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Dakota and Colorado. Other states featuring potentially competitive races include Illinois, Ohio and Missouri.
And come 2012, we'll be coming for you too, Sheldon.

Sixty-six percent (66%) of U.S. voters prefer a smaller government with fewer services and lower taxes over a more active government with more services and higher taxes.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 22% prefer a government with more services and higher taxes. Eleven percent (11%) aren't sure which is best.

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party like a smaller government better. Democrats are more narrowly divided: 51% favor a smaller government, but 37% opt for a larger, more activist government.
Sixty-five percent (65%) of liberals chose a government with more services and higher taxes. Eighty-six percent (86%) of conservatives think a smaller government is better.

Sixty-two percent (62%) of all voters say tax cuts are a better way than more government spending to create jobs and fight unemployment. Only 21% say additional stimulus spending is a more effective tool.

Voters overwhelmingly believe that the bigger problem in the United States is the unwillingness of politicians to control government spending rather than voters' unwillingness to pay enough in taxes.

Tom “the traitor” Perriello revisited

This is an excellent post from my blogger friend Garrett at On The Right.

Tom Perriello, the traitor to the 5th District of Virginia, the United Sates military and to the American people is going to have a big election fight on his hands in 2010. I am going to revisit why Perriello is bad for Virginia and the United Sates as a whole. Perriello has been a staunch supporter of House speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hard left agenda.....more

Barry's Historically Low Approvals Aren't HIS Fault

The president's job approval rating plummets to the lowest level ever recorded for a president at this point in his term, according to the latest Gallup poll.

Voters are starting to see a snake oil salesman cloaked in the Messianic white robes of a false prophet.

Gallup's Jeffrey M. Jones explains the real reasons for Barry's historically low approval ratings by using the Soetoro Administration's (ongoing) campaign talking points:

Obama faced significant challenges upon taking office, including arguably the worst economy since the Great Depression and two ongoing wars. Obama is actively trying to address these issues while also tackling some longer-term issues like healthcare and climate change. Over the course of the year, his approval ratings have fallen, perhaps due to lack of obvious progress on many of these fronts, but also perhaps because of the public's apparent reluctance so far to embrace the healthcare reform effort.

Rummy Slaps The Dummy

I'm not a Donald Rumsfeld fan, but today I'm giving him a big high five.

Like all lies that flow from Barry Soetoro's mouth as easily as most people take a breath, this whopper from his speech last night was no exception. It was, however, big enough to rile Donald Rumsfeld out of his self-imposed exile from the public spotlight:

Over the last several years, the Taliban has maintained common cause with Al Qaeda, as they both seek an overthrow of the Afghan government. Gradually, the Taliban has begun to control additional swaths of territory in Afghanistan, while engaging in increasingly brazen and devastating acts of terrorism against the Pakistani people.

Now, throughout this period, our troop levels in Afghanistan remained a fraction of what they were in Iraq. When I took office, we had just over 32,000 Americans serving in Afghanistan compared to 160,000 in Iraq at the peak of the war.
Commanders in Afghanistan repeatedly asked for support to deal with the reemergence of the Taliban, but these reinforcements did not arrive. And that's why, shortly after taking office, I approved a longstanding request for more troops.
From Fox News:
Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Wednesday lashed out at President Obama for claiming the Bush administration rebuffed commanders' repeated requests for more troops in Afghanistan.

"Such a bald misstatement, at least as it pertains to the period I served as secretary of defense, deserves a response," Rumsfeld said in a written statement. "I am not aware of a single request of that nature between 2001 and 2006."
The former Pentagon chief said in his statement the White House should make public any such requests if they exist to back up the allegation.
"The president's assertion does a disservice to the truth and, in particular, to the thousands of men and women in uniform who have fought, served and sacrificed in Afghanistan," Rumsfeld said.
He urged Congress to review the claim in the upcoming debate to "determine exactly what requests were made, who made them, and where and why in the chain of command they were denied."
And what was Barry's Chief Turd Polisher's response?
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs explained Wednesday that Obama was referring to requests that came in during 2008, and suggested Rumsfeld was on thin ice with his criticism.

There was no response from the Community Organizer himself. Word has it, he's been busy practicing his bow.

CIC Of Aiding and Comforting The Enemy

Pres. Barry Soetoro took a break from remaking the USA into an image of Nazi Germany and had his favorite ballerina, Rahm Emmanuel, dig out Gen. McChrystal's 8/31/09 request for more troops in Afghanistan from the White House dumpster, wipe the $19lb bison grease off it, scan it quickly and tell him what TOTUS ought to say about it.
In a megalomaniacal act of unmitigated gall, Barry Soetoro stood in front of West Point Cadets on 01Dec09 and read from his teleprompter. I can imagine what those cadets were thinking and I've written it in red:

It's an extraordinary honor for me to do so here at West Point, where so many men and women have prepared to stand up for our security and to represent what is finest about our country.
(I'm sure it is an honor for you. We, however, have more respect for what we blew out of our noses this morning than we have for you.)
Just days after 9/11, Congress authorized the use of force against Al Qaeda and those who harbored them, an authorization that continues to this day. The vote in the Senate was 98-0; the vote in the House was 420-1.
Then, in early 2003, the decision was made to wage a second war in Iraq.
( By a vote of 77-23 in the Senate and 296-133 in the House - not that you would know. You were too busy knob-jobbing the AFL-CIO.)
The wrenching debate over the Iraq war is well-known and need not be repeated here. It's enough to say that, for the next six years, the Iraq war drew the dominant share of our troops, our resources, our diplomacy, and our national attention, and that the decision to go into Iraq caused substantial rifts between America and much of the world. (A few candy-assed, hygienically-challenged terrorist apologists ISN'T "much of the world".)
Today, after extraordinary costs, we are bringing the Iraq war to a responsible end.
(The Iraq War was won BEFORE you took office and despite your vote AGAINST supplying the warriors of the U.S. Armed Forces with supplies and armaments to finish what was started.)
We will remove our combat brigades from Iraq by the end of next summer and all of our troops by the end of 2011. That we are doing so is a testament to the character of the men and women in uniform.
(Who were led by an honest-to-God COMMANDER IN CHIEF.)
Thanks to their courage, grit and perseverance, we have given Iraqis a chance to shape their future, and we are successfully leaving Iraq to its people.
("WE" haven't given Iraqis a damned thing. You described our efforts in Iraq as "A COMPLETE FAILURE". Remember that? We do. Maybe you've forgotten who is responsible for liberating millions of Muslims because your head got stuck up your ass when you were bowing to a Saudi King. We remember and the Iraqis remember.)

"Here's a guy without much experience, who campaigned against much of what we put in place ... and who now travels around the world apologizing," Cheney said. "I think our adversaries — especially when that's preceded by a deep bow ... — see that as a sign of weakness."Cheney said the president’s “agonizing” about Afghanistan strategy “has consequences for your forces in the field.”
“Every time he delays, defers, debates, changes his position, it begins to raise questions: Is the commander in chief really behind what they’ve been asked to do?”
Specifically, Cheney said the Justice Department decision to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the accused mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, in New York City is “great” for Al Qaeda.
“One of their top people will be given the opportunity — courtesy of the United States government and the Obama administration — to have a platform from which they can espouse this hateful ideology that they adhere to,” he said. “I think it’s likely to give encouragement — aid and comfort — to the enemy.”  Former VP Dick Cheney, Politico
